NYC 5K Police Chase

Thursday, June 29th at 7pm

Our opening season event begins with a 5K around the lake in Flushing Meadows Park in Queens, NY. This race is open to all civilians and law enforcement runners/walkers, which begins and ends near the Unisphere by the Queens Museum. Refreshments are available, but for the first 150 Pre-Registered participants will receive a glass beer mug.

Our Annual Summer Dinner Cruise will be held on the beautiful luxurious cruiser of the Captain Lou Fleet. The Captain Lou VII cruiser will sail out of Freeport, NY. Join us as we cruise and party with great music, dancing, friends and food for a relaxing and enjoyable evening on the Long Island Sound.

Boarding: 6:15pm
Departs: 7:00pm
Returns: 11:00pm

Directions
Take the Meadowbrook Parkway South to exit M9 (Freeport Exit), Proceed West on Merrick Road to Guy Lombardo Blvd. Make a left turn onto Guy Lombardo Blvd., proceed approximately one mile to Front Street, then make a right turn to the next street. Make a right turn onto the next street and make a left turn and proceed to the Captain Lou Parking Lot.

The 5K Run/Walk, across the Brooklyn Bridge is organized in loving memory of Sgt. Keith A. Ferguson, who died in the line of duty. Keith's family, friends and loved ones come together for this event to share his memory. Since founded in 2004, the race continues to grow as runners and walkers experience the Brooklyn Bridge and the best sights New York City has to offer.

All participants start at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and end at City Hall Park. All proceeds go toward the Sgt. Keith Ferguson Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is awarded to one Criminal Justice student. It is an experience you will never forget and a great way to start you day.

14.2 Mile Manhatan Training Run

In its 22nd year, people still say, This is not a race, it's a GREAT TRAINING RUN! The course starts in Upper Manhattan (220th Street & Broadway) and finishes near Battery Park in lower Manhattan. The course travels through different neighborhoods which runners and walkers experience many New York City sights on the West Side. As part of your entry fee, registrants will receive many amenities and goodies.

Transportation
All participants that pay the $5 fee for bus transportation will be able to board the bus at 5:15am. The bus will be at the North End of Battery Park in front of 17 Battery Place and will depart at 6:00am sharp to the starting line at 220th Street & Broadway.
